We went to shop. We gleefully splurged on donuts and sipping chocolate. And there were doors galore! Take a peek and let me know if you have a favorite. Yellow won my heart on this particular outing.

What a doortopia Lucketts was for me! And I thank my galpal AMD for allowing me the extra time spent in the windy, cold elements capturing this motley collection of doors. See you over at Norm’s Thursday Doors for more doorsplorations! Until next time…

What a happy doorful place and post, Denny. Great to see!

Thanks Manja, it was plenty doorful.

You hit the mother lode of doors here! I like the cabinet door with the great hardware, but they are all nice ones.

That cabinet was a lovely piece. Hardly paid attention to it’s contents because of that open door with that pretty handle you too admired.

Looks like you had a field day at this place. More rustic beauty in one place than you can shake a stick at.
Thanks for sharing these 🙂

What a great collection! The buttery door was charming, and something I would love in a house where I had to stay or live, but I love the looks of the old, weathered doors. I identify with them, maybe. LOL! The submarine pod has to be my favorite thing, though. Kewl!

Can you believe out in the middle of nowhere I’d see somthing like that? I wish I could have shared good ‘inside’ pics of the submarine space but it was so small I could not. How does something like this even find it’s way to landlocked Leesburg, VA? It was quite a find, I agree!

Wow, you captured some great doors. Those first three are my favorites, although the dub door and the little door at the end are cool.

Yes, I like that screen door that was on the large airstream. How fun! My girlfriend would like to travel in one someday…perhaps a more up-to-date model.

Those old battered doors are perfect for me. And I like that trailer with your friend and the welcome sign on the ground,

I never even saw that welcome sign until I was home and going through my pics! We were having such fun having found so much whimsy that sign never caught my attention. One never knows what one will find at Lucketts. It is always a good treasure hunting trip!

Very nice selection of doors! Isn’t it funny how an old, weathered, peeling door might be considered an eyesore in the neighborhood, but it’s seen as very quaint and charming (and worth $$) in a “cottage” shop?

How very true! And once it is bought, what would you do with it? I”ve got two in my house but they don’t look that ‘loved’.

There was a lot to see that day on the door front. Glad you liked them Sheree.
