At any given sunrise, I am witness to the colorful balloons decorating the Earlysville sky. With the weather blooming towards spring i expect more of these early morning visitors who hiss and steam their arrival. After twenty plus years of enjoying from below these local siteseeing journeys, I still marvel at the peacefulness that ensues while suspended over the countryside. I’m beginning to imagine what the views must be from the basket…

In all the years I’ve watched others do this I’ve vowed to never, ever. And surprisingly, when I saw this last balloon I felt a bit of curiosity. I don’t know why but perhaps I must embrace this courage while I have it. Stay tuned I guess?
