Maybe not what you were expecting, but I swear these items still rest on my picnic table. I originally took these photos last year leaving the jaws and skull because I liked how they looked amongst the pots flowering there at the time. My daughter and I have harvested a few animal bits from our surrounding woods that now reside amongst my garden beds. Yeah, kinda strange I know, but I was ready for Cee's B&W challenge this week! Thanks for another fun challenge, Cee.

LOL I have a friend who has a stack almost as half as tall as she is on her front porch!

She lives out in rural Maryland, so much wildlife out there. Being a photography enthusiast she comes across a lot of finds in the fields and woods. Her friends in the area know of her talents to “refurbish” bones, deliver her some of those as well.

My anthropologist daughter has never met a bone she didn’t like!

Thanks Irene. The birds have grown used to these lying around the nearby bird feeders.

A conversation starter, for sure, but I don’t notice them now. They’re part of my scenery!
