In sifting through my travel photos, I found a few doors I added to my media file here on WP but never shared for Thursday Doors. These first two are a colorful basket explosion decorating a coffee and pastry shop. Sadly, we did not go in as we were on our way home from a long day exploring Manhattan neighborhoods. Wouldn't this be a happy place to work if you're greeted by this summer bouquet each morning? The other doors and gates are also from the same July 2023 trip.

The Thursday Doors challenge welcomes your door photos each week and is hosted by Dan of No Facilities. If you'd like to contribute your door finds, visit Thursday Doors and the rest of us door lovers from around the globe. Until next time...🚪

I want to go to the flowered coffee shop. Lovely.

I love the splashes of color. And gates are so interesting–they all have their own patterns. (K)

You have a lot to like in this group, Denise. Color, flowers, doors, gates – I like them all.

Thanks, Dan. I took lots of photos while exploring the city, and for some reason, abandoned them. My own lost treasure…

If you find more, I hope you will share them.

Love the different angles. The flowers give a welcoming look to the pubs or restaurants.

Really beautiful doors and I love the photos of the entrance iron gates. You do a great job in your photos to work from different angles. Very well captured images. Wonderful share.
P.S. Love the sunshine and blue skies in the photos!

Thank you, Suzette, very much for your critique! I believe I could sit in the same spot all day in order to appreciate how light and clouds alter what I’m focused on. One day, I’ll make more time to become the photographer I long to be.

Sounds fantastic to study photography and light. I would love to do that too.
