These supporting structures and figures are what’s in my garden and I believe they are just as important to a natural space as the blooms growing there. Thank you to Ann-Christine who hosts this weeks lens-artists challenge, What’s in a garden?
May your garden flourish well into autumn and bring much serenity to you.

Thank you Tina…some days it IS a wonder with the many weeds and squirrels making the beds their homes. I’m battling a hungry squirrel who sits on my front porch eating my greens. I wish I had an organized garden, one with constantly blooming varieties but I haven’t the patience. I spend a few days each season doing a bit or work here and there, pulling and planting and this is it. I’m sure there are so many others who have their gardens under control and tidy!

These are great. You’re right, there’s more to a garden than just the plants 🙂

Gardens are always changing, demanding attention, aging with grace.

All it takes is one special find and then everything finds it’s way into your beds.
