Maybe I need a tip jar to help with seed costs?

That’s a great idea! Actually, I did receive a gift from a blue jay. I need to share that at some point.

One of the blue jays brought me a Green Army Man. I tossed him some peanuts and he dropped the Army Man on our step. I cleaned it and kept it.

REALLY? That’s a fancy gift. Mine are mostly colored plastics or small stones. My guys need to class it up.

It looks tranquil with the blanket of snow, Denise. It’s not cold enough to have snow here in Portland.

It was soooo beautiful for the first 12 hours, and then I was like, “ugh. Let’s get moving now!” It becomes mush and ice and hard to navigate. But it is definitely beautiful upon its first falling. I love this photo! I will be sharing photos of my own in less than an hour. Stay warm, dry, and safe!

The grey, dingy snow is definitely not cozy, and then it needs to be gone. Our temps may rise a bit this week, so some melting is expected.
