Thursday Gordonsville Doors #thursdaydoors

The gorgeous fall weather here in the Piedmont has me looking closely to the changes happening around me. Yesterday, after a wonderful lunch in Gordonsville, I allowed myself time to walk the main street (very short walk!) and visit with the colorful storefront doors that open to delicious coffee aromas, unique artisan jewelry and sculptures, eclectic clothing, and interesting history. One shop owner, after learning about my love of doors, introduced me to doors within her studio. I noticed not only the doors but the ornate hardware gracing each as well as the slatted wooden floors boasting scars from owner's past. The space was beautiful and a lovely backdrop for her artwork. I chose not to take any photos while visiting, I simply breathed it all in and was glad for it.
Once back outside, I did photograph a few of the doors that spoke to me. Click on the first image for a larger view.
Thank you for walking with me and now let's head to Dan's to visit with the other door lover's contributions to the Thursday Doors extravaganza. I look forward to reading you today. Until next time...🚪
