Happy Holidays to all! I've been absent most of the month but just spent some time reading the doors I've missed in December. I recently visited Callahan's, a unique gift shop featuring nautical decor in Calabash, North Carolina. We've been to this store many times but never have I entered the year round Christmas collection at the back of the space and I think this is due to being there in the spring or summer. Oh my goodness, this was a real treat and how I wish my kids and grandkids were with us! I felt like a kid in a candy store with the shiny, glittering, colorful, and varied ornaments and decorations hanging, blinking, rotating, and dancing around me. It was a large space and one in which I was lost. Lost within the nostalgia of all my childhood Christmases. Lost in the Christmas traditions on display. Lost to the fact that there can never be too much Christmas in my home and in my heart. I hope you enjoy these ornament doors I remembered to capture as I stumbled through this holiday explosion.
