Biking the High Bridge Trail was a fun day trip for my girlfriends and me. It is an easy ride with little change in terrain so bikers of any age or capability will enjoy this 30+ mile trail stretching above the Appomatox river between Farmville and Burkeville. For more information about The High Bridge Trail (now on the National Register of Historic Places), read here.
