Long rainy days and humid nights
encourage you a place
to sit in my yard.
Devoid of color and fragrance
yet boldly you glare
as if you’ll survive today’s
bright sun and cooler air.
Sit proud for now my dirt flowers,
your hours are few.

I wonder too / maybe they will emerge in different spots because their roots (as you know) are all threadlike – and ready for some sunshine for sure

I live in NY State in a small village. I used to see common brown mushrooms crop up in my yard. But have never seen the white ones in your photos.
