Long rainy days and humid nights
encourage you a place
to sit in my yard.
Devoid of color and fragrance
yet boldly you glare
as if you’ll survive today’s
bright sun and cooler air.
Sit proud for now my dirt flowers,
your hours are few.
I’ll not likely see you when I return.
This was really well
Done!!
The temporary vibe of our fungi and the dirt flower name along with all of the other gems in your words – which synced with your pics seamlessly

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. They were indeed gone at the end of the day but rain is back so I wonder if more will return?

I wonder too / maybe they will emerge in different spots because their roots (as you know) are all threadlike – and ready for some sunshine for sure

Thank you for visiting…don’t know where you’re living but right now with Virginia weather these mushrooms are popping up almost daily.

I live in NY State in a small village. I used to see common brown mushrooms crop up in my yard. But have never seen the white ones in your photos.
