gallery Thursday Closed Doors

While walking along this city street I was caught off-guard to notice three former businesses now vacant. The day was cold and blustery which seemed appropriate backdrop for these once busy establishments. Sadly, the shop to which I was walking is closing it’s doors soon and leaves a huge hole in my shopping heart.

spaces once thriving

closed, only memories dwell.

doors still speak to me.

Inspired by Norm’s Thursday Doors. Thank you Norm for a new year of door hardware, door decorations, and door sharing for us all!

  1. I like the ideas of closed door sand your little poem to note how they speak to you.
The first photo – with the bench – has a nice closed vibe – but each photo has personality. The basket at 213 and the yellow brick one has the empty flag pole holder -t he mailbox and light – adding interest.
great shots and wishing you a great start to 2020
    🙂
