While visiting our daughter in Knoxville she took us on a wonderful walk through the Sequoyah Hills neighborhood where she enjoys running. The neighborhood is huge, one can choose hills or none, and it is located along the Tennessee River. The main road running through these homes is Scenic Drive and yes, it was! The middle of the road is tree lined with a walking path running the length of Scenic Drive. This area was developed on the land where the Peter Blow Ferry once operated. Once home, I researched this historic neighborhood and you can read here and here for further details if you wish.

I love that first house and garden. Great photo.

These are quite some homes. My favorite is the very first one–the house, the door, and the landscaping all work together in harmony.

These are some lovely houses, entrances and doors. I think I like the white one with the pillars the best.

So many to choose from on Scenic Drive. Because I was enjoying my daughter time I did not grab as many doors as were worthy.

I understand. You were focused on what was important.

Some great doors. The blue one with the arc portico is definitely my favourite though.
