Thursday ‘For Sale’ Doors #ThursdayDoors

Where have I been these past weeks? I hardly remember the last time I posted or even felt inspired by a door crossing my path. Until yesterday. While antiquing around my area I discovered these mismatched doors, and all for sale!

A door amongst garden items…except for that bed frame to the right.

An old, six paneled door with a well worn but gorgeous marble knob. (Yes, I did photograph the knob but cannot find it now. Operator error I assume.)

A Jewel of a drawer, right? There is a pony out there somewhere missing her back shoes.

This crackled and split brown door is not my cup of tea and reminds me of a weak cup of coffee.

Hmmm, undecided door begging for attention!

This hard working door may not have been for sale.

I thank each of you for visiting today, it has been too long that I've not visited your doors or posted any for you. Looking forward to reading you this afternoon. And thank you Dan for hosting us this Thursday and every Thursday. Readers, if you'd like to see what other door lovers have found around the globe, visit Thursday Doors at No Facilities. Until next time...

  1. What a fun day you had! Thanks for sharing the doors. I’m *hoping* to write a short story for Dan’s challenge, inspired by the iron door you offered up for it. Would you tell me how to credit you? Your “byline.”
Also if you posted more pics of the building for that door, I’d love a link. I was trying to search online, but I didn’t find a search option on your blog.
Have a great rest of the week. Hugs on the wing!

  2. These are great doors. I’ve seen old doors for sale at a reclaimed building supply house, and I’ve seen them used as yard art, but these are quite different. like what they’ve done with them. I’m glad you found them and shared them with us.

  3. Thank you, Denny, for these jewels. I wish to know, which did you buy? 😉 Such a hard choice… I love the hardworking one, and the pony shoes thief. But I love even more your enthusiasm. Yes, we are right here for whenever you need us. 🙂
