Thursday Dutch Church Doors #thursdaydoors

I was very excited to find these gorgeous doors amongst my Manhattan pictures taken last month. These doors belong to the Collegiate Reformed Protestant Dutch Church located on 5th Avenue. As I began researching this church, two hours ago, I realized I am no further along in understanding the history of these doors as there seems to be multiple churches within these collegiate churches and the various articles I found don’t offer much to help me identify which building I photographed. I usually capture more supporting photos to help remember the particulars of the subject I’m capturing – not so this time. Sorry readers, today I’m simply serving up bright and shiny brass doors with not an ounce of history. Please, Please, Please, if anyone reading this recognizes this doorway will you please throw a bit of information my way?

Thank you, Dan, for hosting us once more and congratulations on your newest publication! If you’re reading me today and want to see more interesting doors offered up from around the globe, visit THURSDAY DOORS. And should you like to read about our host’s recent and past books, visit MY BOOKS and take a tour. Until next time…🚪
