Hello to all you door lovers who seek out Dan of No Facilities and his Thursday Doors challenge. Today, I'm contributing a door with no history (that I know of) but is most certainly abandoned. I was drawn to it because of the paper wasp's nest attached above the door. I, too, have a paper wasp nest in my front yard, high above where Mr. E'ville cannot reach in order to remove. The one in our yard still looks fresh, as in built this summer or spring. The one adorning this door seems rather old and sad.

Thank you for visiting me today and I will read about your Thursday Doors when I jump over to Dan's.
Until next time...🚪

They have their own unique charm. Hugs.

Whenever I see buildings like this, I wonder what they might have been used for. We found a wasps next like that inside one of our walls during a remodel. It was huge (and thankfully long dormant). As I fought to remove it, my wife pointed out that “they built that with their mouths).

They are quite amazing! And I wish I could know what that small building was in it’s yesteryear. There are a few intriguing cement forms nearby, all exactly the same. I cannot figure out how they fit in to the surroundings. All overgrown w no telltale signs of what happened here.

It is. Would love to know how it may have serviced the area once upon a time ago.
