they color my mind
intentions of verse
the painted kind.
their flow i harness
and quickly brush
a blend of lines
before they rush.
garden greens
and patinaed blues
drape my palette
of verbal hues.
this robe of dreams
my conscience display
wrapped in words
i start my day.
