Do you like doors? and cows? and great breakfast food? If so, this is the place for you! I recently had a fabulous breakfast with Mr. E'ville and E'ville daughter at a rather new restaurant in Nellysford, Virginia. Belties rests at the foot of Wintergreen ski resort in the Rockfish Valley. We drove a lovely scenic route, about 45 minutes from E'ville, and arrived alongside other curious and hungry visitors seeking comfort food. This E'ville woman was comforted for the rest of the day and may I suggest you try anything served on their melt-in-your-mouth biscuits!

If you ever find yourself near Nellysford, please take the time to visit this unique restaurant where you may find that miniature door, have a terrific brunch, and meet these lovely creatures known as Belted Galloway Cows. And, if you've not already done so, click on over to Dan's for Thursday Doors where you can admire the many doornatics from around the globe who gather each Thursday to share their doorscoveries. Until next time...🚪
The very small door and windows were ‘hidden’ in the baseboard on one of the restaurant walls. I would’ve missed it had a small boy not been lying on the floor peeking inside.
I love barn doors, Denise, and you have some great photos of them. I also really like those cows. “Anything served on their melt-in-your-mouth biscuits” sounds like a wonderful meal.
I can see that the place would leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling too.
Treating that barn door in B&W is a great idea. It’s a wonderful image.

Great cows. And I especially like the lights in the door and windows–so inviting. (K)
